Till Wonka

Till Wonka was born in Dresden in 1982 and studied drama at the Academy of Music and Theatre Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig. After finishing his studies, he worked at the Schauspiel Leipzig, Stuttgarter Staatstheater and Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, where he played leading roles in Romeo und Juliet, Hamlet, Die Macht der Finsternis, Titus Andronicus and Homer’s Iliad. In addition to his stage work he also works regularly in film and television. Till Wonka has been a member of the Gorki ensemble since the 2013/2014 season, where he has worked with the directors Nuran David Calis, Armin Petras, Sebastian Baumgarten, Volker Lösch, Dušan David Pařízek, Nurkan Erpulat and Christian Weise, among others. In the 2025/26 season, he will appear in Lene Brasch's production of EAST SIDE STORY – A GERMAN JEWSICAL.
