Till Wonka

Till Wonka was born in Dresden in 1982 and studied drama at the Academy of Music and Theatre Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig. After finishing his studies, he worked at the Schauspiel Leipzig, Stuttgarter Staatstheater and Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, where he played leading roles in Romeo und Juliet, Hamlet, Die Macht der Finsternis, Titus Andronicus and Homer’s Iliad. In addition to his stage work he also works regularly in film and television. Till Wonka has been a member of the Gorki ensemble since the 2013/14 season, where he has worked with the directors Sebastian Nübling, Sebastian Baumgarten, Mirko Borscht, Nurkan Erpulat und Christian Weise, among others.
