Gorki X

At Gorki X the focus is on encounters between people: exchanges, interactions, the X as pictogram for a meeting at a common point. Gorki X is the platform for education and outreach at the Gorki. It's core activities include introductory and in-depth workshops, and formats that allow for active participation in the theatre and its topics, as well as its spaces for discourse and thought.

Through its three pillars of School, Club and Lab, Gorki X provides interactive formats directed at a broad range of potential participants: groups or individual visitors, theatre experts or novices, from 16-96 years-old. In workshops, discussions, project days, workshops, labs, clubs, performances or devised pieces, spaces are established for creative exchange that are open to all. Come! Join in!

The X is open space. The X connects the city. The X pushes boundaries. We move in a space of the shared. Here everyone who wants to, goes toward each other. We continue from the point where everyone else stops asking: What is happening in this city and how can I get involved? Anyone who has something to say-and that is everyone- has come to the right place. Because the game really gets going after the performance is over.
