Anastasia Gubareva was born in Moscow in 1982 and studied at the Folkwang Academy in Essen. While still a student, she appeared at the Essen Theatre in the productions Fucking Amal and The Playboy of the Western World. Since 2009 Anastasia Gubareva has been an ensemble member at the Bonn Theatre, where she has appeared in The Cherry Orchard, Der zerbrochene Krug, Hamlet and Die Ratten, among others. In 2011 Anastasia Gubareva won the Young Artist Encouragement Award of the State of Northrhine-Westphalia. Since the season 2013/2014 Anastasia Gubareva is a company member of the Gorki Theatre. There she works together with the directors Yael Ronen, Hakan Savaş Mican, Sebastian Nübling and Oliver Frljić and can be seen in plays like Angst essen Seele auf (Theatertreffen 2015), Die Nacht von Lissabon and most recently in Berlin Oranienplatz by Hakan Savaş Micans as well as in Sebastian Nübling's production of Sibylle Berg's Und sicher ist mit mir die Welt verschwunden.
