Emre Aksızoğlu(1988*) studied acting at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and at the Actors Temple in London. He was already appearing in his first productions at the Schauspiel Essen during his studies. In 2010 - while he was also still a student - he appeared in Verrücktes Blut directed by Nurkan Erpulat. After that he appeared in Wut at the Schauspiel Bern in 2011. From 2011 to 2013 he was part of the ensemble at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, where he worked with directors such as Falk Richter, Daniel Cremer and Klaus Figge. Various appearances as a guest performer have taken him to Schauspiel Köln, the Theater am Neumarkt Zürich and the Maxim Gorki Theatre. Emre has been part of the Gorki ensemble since the 2019/2020 season. At the Gorki he works with directors such as Oliver Frljić, Falk Richter and Hakan Savaş Mican and appears in In my Room and Berlin Oranienplatz, among others.
