Auction of Souls

Aurora Mardiganian provided an eyewitness account of the massacres during the Armenian genocide in her text Ravished Armenia. Only 22 minutes and the script have survived from the film version, Auction of Souls. In her lecture performance, Arsinée Khanjian reconstructs the story of a desperate attempt to tell of the indescribable.
