Arsinée Khanjian

Arsinée Khanjian, born to Armenian parents in Beirut, has lived in Canada since 1975. She studied political science in Toronto and came to film through her husband Atom Egoyan. She has starred in numerous films (including La masseria delle allodole (The Lark Farm and Ararat) and has directed as well. In 2006 she was awarded the »Genie Award« for best actress for the film Ararat.
