Starting in 2016, collektive temporaire has celebrated Heiner Müller’s birthday by bringing him together with writers that are just as sublime – and just as dead – as he is. On his 97th birthday he will meet one of the most defiant writers of all time and confront his texts. He encounters himself and a capitalism that still persists and threatens to escalate once again. Müller remembers what was, what is, and what will be! An uncomfortable encounter with a time that is still ours and a birthday celebration of a special kind, in the Gorki canteen.
