One of Germany’s first »guest workers« presents a multimedia report about the beginnings of the agreement and the reality of his life as a factory worker in Nuremberg. Abdurrahman Gümrükçü tells of how he pursued his goal of working in Germany with an abundance of will, unfailing industriousness, enthusiasm and dedication. Today he is a popular and renowned German Turk in Nuremberg and the surrounding region and »builder of bridges« between many cultures.
