The Prosa der Verhältnisse series will make a contribution to the poetology of resistance in the 2024/25 season as well. Whether it’s a work of fiction, biography or essay, social novel or science fiction: in literary conversations, Deniz Utlu questions the texts’ political context together with their authors. They talk about how the conditions of the time affect the form and content of their writing, their aesthetic. Because the conditions of our present are reflected in that which can be told and which cannot, as well as in the way we tell it.
