Is this another Fakebook?

The long-term project fakebook transforms books into masks. Originating from the artist’s personal library, they are perforated and reactivated in workshops with local communities. The book masks are both sculptures and an invitation to reflect on language, the body, and belonging. fakebook understands the book as a habitable space: it preserves traces of writing and becomes a mask, a reference back to the body as a medium of communication.
