The occupation of spaces by marginalized voices in order to locate themselves and turn the discourse around, is here and now more important than ever. In this respect, two discourse series have a notable effect on the Studio Я schedule: In Kosmos², curated by Grada Kilomba, refugee artists provide an insight into their artistic works. In Prosa der Verhältnisse, curated by Deniz Utlu, marginalized authors speak about writing in the 21st century–beyond descent or belonging.
