With an educational background in English Literature, Sasapin Siriwanij is a Bangkok-based performing artist, curator, and producer. A member of B-Floor Theatre since 2009, she has an extensive background in physical theatre, movement-based, and devised performances, with a strong focus on socio-politically critical work. She co-founded For What Theatre in 2014 and has produced, directed, and performed with various Thai theaters and international collaborators. Her artistic practice is informed by the idea of criticality, self-awareness, and empowerment, employing methods ranging from texts to somatic exploration and choreography. Siriwanij also serves as Artistic Director of Bangkok International Performing Arts Meeting (BIPAM), alongside producing independently for international projects.
