Maimouna Sow was born and raised in Paris in 2001. She moved to Berlin, where she graduated from the former Berlin School of Acting in 2025. She lives and works as a freelance actress, dividing her time between Berlin and Strasbourg.
During her studies, she performed at Gripsholm Castle in the production Klassik am Meer directed by Angelika Perdelwitz. She appeared in the musical production Billie&Maria, directed by Iulia Grigoriu, at the Grüner Salon of the Volksbühne Berlin and at the JTW Spandau.
In the field of performance and dance, she appeared in, among other productions, Eve’s Echoe – There Is a General Rehearsal Going on in Paradise at the TAK Theater Berlin. In Strasbourg, she appeared in the reading of Virages noirs by Shiho Kasahara at TAPS, directed by Marie Seux.
