Hasan H. Taşgın, born in Berlin, made his first stage appearance in the akademie der autodidakten in the play Tod eines Superhelden (Death of a Superhero) by Marianna Salzmann and Deniz Utlu at the Ballhaus Naunynstraße. He went on to perform at the Theatre Waschhaus in Potsdam and participate in various short film projects. After the film and music performance project Urban Sounds Clash Classic at the Berliner Festspiele and Alfred Döblin's Berlin Alexanderplatz, directed by Carlos Manuel, Taşgın performed in the award-winning play Mad Blood by Nurkan Erpulat and Jens Hillje. Taşgın can currently be seen in Sebastian Nübling's productions Fallen and In unserem Namen (In our Name) at the Maxim Gorki Theatre. He also recently appeared in two episodes of Tatort: Fegefeuer in Hamburg and Zahltag in Dortmund.
