Emine Ulusen, Evgenia Karakolidis, Anayurt Kırımlı, and Evgenia Maltezaki are Yoldaş – friends and companions. Since the 1970s, their lives have been centered around the BMW factory in Munich. There, they experienced physical and psychological exhaustion, but also self-empowerment. Nihan Devecioğlu grew up in the vicinity of the BMW factory as the granddaughter of workers of Turkish origin. She connects with the experiences of the women and creates a poetic-musical space, a lively collage of contemporary history.
