In Jokes, ongoing Mila Panić brings stand-up comedy into the art space, transforming the Kiosk for a Magic Future into a stage for sharp wit, playful provocation, and critical reflection. In her practice, humour serves as an artistic tool to question, subvert, and reimagine dominant cultural narratives. By interacting with the audience, she creates moments of liberation where serious themes such as selective empathy, politics, war, displacement, and the fragility and contradictions of human existence are confronted. Her playful approach to language and seemingly absurd premises leads to laughter, opening a space in which we can reconsider our shared responsibility.
