Filmmaker Merlyn Solakhan talks to 25 women from the first generation of immigrants. They are given space and time to tell their stories, which condense together with their experiences into an epic panorama of the lived reality of migrants. The result is a »conversation which is a message« (Solakhan). Solakhan and Manfred Blank restored this powerful work in 2023.
