For a documentary stage project/documentary scenic installation the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, the artistic duo L.A.S. [Laboratorio de Artistas Sostenibles] which is Laura Uribe (Mexico) and Sabina Aldana (Colombia) are searching for Berlin based Spanish speaking people interested in taking part as extras in their next performance. The production and performances will take place in January/February 2025.
The project will investigate the enforced disappearance of people in Mexico. Over 110,000 people are considered missing. L.A.S. will work together with the searching mothers of the FUNDENL collective (Fuerzas Unidas por Nuestros Desaparecidos
en Nuevo León).

As the performance will also involve the sewing of technical suits for the very women who are searching for their children, knowledge and basic skills in the manufacturing of clothes are needed (tailors, seamstresses, fashion designer, costume designer or similar) in order to recreate on stage a sewing workshop (maquilla).

An individual casting will happen between 24/27/June and a second one between 8/11/July in Maxim Gorki Theatre Berlin.
