Tarun Kade, born in 1984, studied theatre studies, English and philosophy in Bristol and Munich. During his studies he worked as a director and dramaturg on independent theatre productions in Munich, Hamburg and Berlin. Following positions as a lecturer at the University of Bayreuth and as a dramaturg at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg and the Theater Bremen, he was head dramaturg at the Münchner Kammerspiele until May 2020. Tarun Kade lives and works as an independent dramaturg in Munich. At the Maxim Gorki Theatre he collaborated with Clara Probst on Leonie Böhm’s Noorrrraaaaaaaa, based on Henrik Ibsen.
