Steven Fast is a dancer and choreographer with roots in acting who works for film and stage. Born in Heilbronn in 1996, Fast comes from the first generation of Volga Germans to return to Germany. During his time as a dancer at the Heidelberg Theater under the direction of Ivàn Pérez, Fast choreographed for the theater's drama department and began to develop his own works professionally. His works have been shown at the Tanzbiennale Heidelberg, the CineDans Film Festival Amsterdam, the Choreographic Center Normandie and the Julia Stoschek Collection Berlin, among others. Fast also works as a movement director in the fashion industry, commercials and film productions. Further, he has collaborated with renowned artist Wolfgang Tillmans on his music video Your Body is Yours. Fast can currently be seen in Death Drive at the Volksbühne Berlin and in Barocco at the Thalia Theater. At Gorki he is the choreographer for T-Boy on Grindr.
