Sophie Bischoff is the managing director of the German-Syrian solidarity and human rights organization Adopt a Revolution. She studied Arabic studies, history and sociology in Leipzig, Erfurt and Beirut and has been in charge of communication with Adopt a Revolution's project partners in Syria since 2013. She recently returned from a four-week trip through Syria, during which she visited various civil society organizations in Idlib, Homs, Afrin, Azzaz, Suwaida and Damascus, among others.
