Selin Kavak completed her studies in theater studies and dramaturgy at Istanbul University and the Freie Universität Berlin in 2008. She completed her acting studies at the Alanus Hochschule für Kunst und Gesellschaft in Bonn (as a scholarship holder of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation and DAAD) in 2013, during which time she appeared on stage several times at the Theater Bonn. To date, she has appeared on stage at the Maxim Gorki Theater, the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the Heimathafen Neukölln, and the Ballhaus Naunynstraße, among others. Her television credits include Tatort, Made in Germany, Das Institut, and others. Her films have been screened at international festivals in Moscow, Warsaw, Glasgow, Oldenburg, Antalya, and elsewhere. She regularly appears in theater, TV, and film productions and writes plays and screenplays.
