Oscar Hoppe

Oscar Hoppe was born in Dresden in 1996 and grew up in a theater family. After studying acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, he began his theater career at the Mecklenburg State Theater. For three years, he played roles including Gundermann in GundermannMänner, Frauen und Maschinen (director: Patrick Wengenroth), the worm in Schiller's Kabale und Liebe (director: Steffi Kühnert), and Kasperl in Räuber Hotzenplotz (director: P. Wengenroth). He also regularly appears in front of the camera for various film and television productions (Bad Banks, Drifter, All das Licht, das wir nicht sehen).

In addition to his work as an actor, he is active as a singer and producer of the music duo »lele & os« and composes for film and theater. For the productions ENDGAME 24 and DIE ALLERLETZTEN at the Maxim Gorki Theater, he develops the sound design and works with the amateur soccer players involved to create the spoken and sung choruses.
