Michael Moshonov was born in 1986 in Israel. He is an actor and musician from Tel Aviv. Recently he starred in the BBC/AMC drama The Little Drummer Girl directed by Park Chan Wook. His film work includes Mein Herz tanzt (Dancing Arabs), Mary Magdalene, Lebanon, The Policeman, Junction 48 and more.
He won the Israeli Academy Award for best actor for the movie Lost Islands and the best supporting actor award for the movie The Flood. His famous roles on stage are Konstantin in The Seagull by Anton Chekhov (Habima National Theatre of Israel), Eugene in Brighton Beach Memoirs by Neil Simon (The Cameri Theater of Tel Aviv) and Eili in The Who and the Wha״ by Ayad Akhtar (The Haifa Theatre). He released three music albums with his local Tel Aviv hip hop band called Cohen@mushon.
