Mátyás Dunajcsik (he/him) was born in Budapest, in 1983, and has lived in Berlin since 2023. He is a multilingual, ex-Hungarian, and new German queer author and performer. His German-language literary works have been awarded working scholarships from the Academy of Arts in Berlin (2009, 2021), the German Literature Fund (2024), and the Berlin Senate (2026). His most recent German-language publications include the poetry collection Verlorene Gedichte (Lost Poems, Parasitenpresse, Cologne, 2023) and the essay PUNK in the Edition Poeticon series (Verlagshaus, Berlin, 2024).
