Martin Lillich

 

Martin Lillich is a well known bass player who is at home in jazz as well as in world music and classical music. He played with Kenny Wheeler, Mikis Theodorakis, Al Di Meola, Benny Bailey and Helmut Brandt, as well as Gidon Kremer, Heinz Holliger and Nathan Milstein. Lillich studied double bass with the Philharmoniker Klaus Stoll and was a lecturer at the International Summer Academy for Jazz Berlin and at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music. Since 2006 he is the bandleader at the Pomp Duck & Circumstance show and since 2010 he has been teaching at the Global Music Academy.
