Kristin Helberg

Kristin Helberg is a journalist and political scientist. She reported for seven years from Damascus, has written several books on Syria, and is now based in Berlin, working as an author, presenter and expert on the Middle East. Her most recent book is Der Syrien-Krieg. Lösung eines Weltkonflikts (The Syrian War. Solution for a World Conflict), published by Herder Verlag. As a Stiftung Mercator fellow, she studied the Syrian diaspora in Germany.
