In her works Jazgul Madazimova explores the themes of migration and borders, inspired by the sacrifice and resilience of an entire generation of Kyrgyz women who went abroad to earn a living for their families. Her artistic practice encompasses various mediums, including performance and installation, and embraces a collaborative and socially engaged approach, connecting artists, spaces and communities.
