Ilja Matusko

Ilija Matusko studied sociology and political science. He lives and works as a freelance writer in Berlin. He has received numerous grants for his work, including a grant from the Fritz Hüser Institute for Literature and Culture of the Working World, as well as a residency at Villa Aurora in Los Angeles. In 2023, Verdunstung in der Randzone was published by edition suhrkamp. Jugo, his debut novel, will be published in September 2026.
