Heghine Khachatryan

Heghine Khachatryan is an Armenian soprano renowned for her versatile performances in both operatic and contemporary settings. A graduate of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, she has established herself as a prominent figure in Armenia's classical music scene. Khachatryan is affiliated with the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, where she has portrayed roles such as Giannetta in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore and Euridice in Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice. In March 2024, she performed the role of Olympia in Tigran Chukhachyan's opera Arshak II, under the direction of conductor Donato Renzetti. Expanding her artistic repertoire, Khachatryan currently collaborates with pianist Tigran Hamasyan and director Ruben Van Leer in the transmedial live performance The Bird of a Thousand Voices, touring internationally. Her dynamic career reflects a commitment to both traditional opera and innovative musical expressions.
