Bishop Black is a British artist who has been on stage for seven years, first as a performance artist before switching to drag and later burlesque. They expresses themself primarily by using their body as a language and as a politicized tool, through sexuality and gender. Having worked in the field of film in recent years, they is now mainly onstage, developing unique but interconnected performances using mythology, occultism, queerness and dance. In all their works, the intention to create moods through music and acting is seen as a leitmotif that aims for development and growth by liberating what might be considered ridiculous and invigorating and unlocking the inhibitions one feels in one's own body.
