Alisha Gamisch lives and works as a freelance author and curator in Berlin. Her first poetry collection, Lustdorf, was published in 2020 by Verlagshaus Berlin. It was voted one of the best poetry debuts of the year by the Haus für Poesie. In 2022, she received the Nora Pfeffer Prize from the Bavarian Cultural Center of Germans from Russia. She was a scholarship holder at the Novel Workshop of the Literary Colloquium Berlin. She is also co-curator and moderator of the reading and discussion series PostOstCafé at the Maxim Gorki Theater. Since 2025, she is part of the literary show No Scribes. Her debut novel Parasiti will be published by Voland & Quist in spring 2026.
