BRING MICH FORT AUS DIESER STILLE: GEDICHTE

In November 2024, İlhan Sami Çomak was released after 30 years in a Turkish prison. The multiaward- winning poet wrote ten poetry collections, an autobiography, and a play during his internment. The poetry collection Bring mich fort aus dieser Stille (Take me away from this silence) contains a selection of Kurdish and Turkish poems, translated into German for the first time.  The evening will be hosted by poet and Büchner Prize winner Jan Wagner.
