Berlin A_B

With this project the Golden Gorkis for the first time approach the medium film. With the selected scenes from their everyday life, the ensemble alludes to stories that take their course long before the actual day of shooting and continue beyond the film. These scenes differ greatly from one another and were composed into episodes in such a way that they complement one another associatively. The intention here is not to restrict completely different realities, but to transfer them into common fictional spaces.

Until recently, it was impossible to imagine the ensemble's everyday life without all the little touches that become apparent in the film. While here gaps in the individual encounters are still bridged with contact and intimacy, this possibility has been fundamentally changed by the pandemic. The various encounters during running training, in gymnastics lessons and even the conversation in the car or the prepared reception of friends* for dinner: everything seems like a story from another time. What remains is the longing for presence.
