Shari Asha Crosson

Born in Karlsruhe, Shari Asha Crosson studied acting at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart from 2009 to 2013. She was already performing at various German theatres during her studies, including the Wilhelma Theater Stuttgart and Theater Freiburg. She was part of the Staatstheater Karlsruhe Schauspielstudio for a year in 2012. From 2013 to 2015 she was a member of the ensemble at the Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss where her roles included Luise in Kabale und Liebe, Ada in Spieltrieb by Juli Zeh and Christine in Zur schönen Aussicht by Ödön von Horvath. In 2015 she developed the performance Beyoncé verpasst Nick Carter eine Watschn und heiratet sich selbst at the Volkstheater Wien. She is a co-founder of the #foxdevilswild collective, which celebrated its first premiere Bitch Perfect oder Alice um Wund-air-Land at the Lofft Theater Leipzig in 2019. Since 2020, she has been part of the ensemble at Theater Oberhausen, where she also works as a director. Previously, she made guest appearances at Schauspiel Leipzig, Staatsschauspiel Dresden and Schauspiel Köln, among others. In addition to her stage work, Shari Asha Crosson also works as a voice actress and in film and television. Since February 2021 Shari Asha Crosson has also appeared in the ZDFNeo series Fett und Fett.
