Igor Pauška

Igor Pauška was born in 1976 and from 1997 – 2004 studied painting and multimedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. He is the author of more than 80 set designs for plays in Croatia and Europe. His work has been awarded with different prices, among others he was awarded with the Grand prix for the light installation at the International Salon of Alexandria, Egypt
2005 and in 2015 with the Audience Prize for the play Danton's death, directed by Oliver Frljić at the Prague quadrennial. For Oliver Frljić's productions GOЯKI – ALTERNATIVE FÜR DEUTSCHLAND?, EIN BERICHT FÜR EINE AKADEMIE, and ANNA KARENINA ODER ARME LEUTE at the Maxim Gorki Theater, he created the stage designs.
In 2014, he founded the KULTURA studio for audiovisual communication. He collaborates with architectural and design studios on intercultural, architectural and design related projects and does light and multimedia consultancy for private and public spaces.

Pauška  is a member of the Croatian freelance artists association (HZSU) and the Croatian association of artists (HDLU). He lives and works in Zagreb.
