An oversized megaphone on a cargo bike, equipped with a sound system and microphone, stands at the entrance to the city's »underworld«: the Lindentunnel. The Tohubassbuuh is mobile. Occupied by a performer, it could, as it did years ago, travel through the inner-city space, loudly addressing historical sites and monuments and letting them speak. It confronts past events with present conditions, traverses places of collective memory, and opens up spaces for voices of resistance. During the seventh Herbstsalon, the Tohubassbuuh is on the move as a mobile, temporary part of bankleer's installation TUNNEL – in a world that opens up deep beneath the surface: populated, it is said, »by perverts, madmen, shameless people, Satanists, Nazis...«
