Nairi Hadodo, born in Cologne in 1995 and raised in Düsseldorf, initially studied fine arts at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf before starting her acting studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts Bochum. Her solo diploma project to preserve, to protect, to preserve pop a bottle of Moët is nominated for the Folkwang Prize 2020. From the 2020/21 season to the 2023/24 season, she takes up her first engagement at Theater Basel under the direction of Antu Romero Nunes, Jörg Pohl, Anja Dirks and Inga Schonlau. In Basel she works with Antú Romero Nunes, Lies Pauwels and John Collins, among others. In the 23/24 season, she is staging the play KIM, in which she functions as author, director, actress and costume designer, about the Armenian-American entrepreneur Kim Kardashian. With the 2024/2025 season, KIM finds its way to Studio Я at the Maxim Gorki Theater. From the 2024/2025 season, she is a permanent ensemble member at Gorki.
