Marco FusinatoNoise as a Strategy An open workshop on Marco Fusinato’s "IN THE CORPSE OF THE PRESENT and Heinrich von Kleist’s The Prince of Homburg"
When do you long for noise, and when for silence? How do you move through darkness? And when do you wear a mask?
In Marco Fusinato’s installation IN THE CORPSE OF THE PRESENT at the Maxim Gorki Theater, Heinrich von Kleist’s The Prince of Homburg meets records played in slow motion, masks, flickering lights and a thundering electric guitar.
We invite you to explore the installation together as a group and share your impressions and questions. The open workshop combines a guided walk through the exhibition with a conversation afterwards: about sounds that comfort or disturb us, about darkness and images that stay with us, about rules, authority, obedience and disobedience – and about what makes us raise our voices.
The workshop is open to everyone over 18. It is a space for exchange: there are no right or wrong answers, just room for different experiences and perspectives. No prior knowledge is needed.
