Mohammad Salemy, Reza Negastani, Marek Poliks , Roberto Alonso Trillo, Anna LongoFeedback Sessions: Autopilot
Maxim Gorki Theater, 9 Oct 2026 – 11 Oct 2026
The first edition of FEEDBACK SESSIONS is AUTOPILOT. It begins from a disturbing question: what happens when automation no longer simply assists human decisions but increasingly makes them, when it no longer only organises production but begins to structure information, labour, political power and decision-making itself? Automation promises efficiency and autonomy. But who defines the systems? Who controls their infrastructures? Whose labour disappears from view? And what happens when decisions affecting society are delegated to processes that appear to operate without a pilot?
Across three evenings, Reza Negarestani, Anna Longo, Marek Poliks and Roberto Alonso Trillo approach these questions through ecology, artificial intelligence, information, labour and capital, asking who controls the systems, who disappears from them, and who is left to deal with their consequences. Negarestani extends Marx's concept of metabolic rift into the age of automation. Longo examines information as a structuring power and asks how it might challenge modernity's drive toward mastery. Poliks and Trillo examine the automation of capital itself: the increasing separation of value from labour, bodies and the social relations that produce it.
AUTOPILOT asks not only what machines can do but what kinds of political and economic systems are being built around them, and what forms of collective agency remain possible within them.
