Emeka Ene

Emeka Ene is an artist born in London and raised in Berlin. He initially studied law at the University of Sheffield (2004–2007) before turning to dance. From 2019 to 2023, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Context and Choreography at the Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz Berlin.

During and after his studies, he worked as a dancer in the independent scene and has performed at venues including Uferstudios, Sophiensæle and Radialsystem in Berlin. In 2025, he performed in RUNNIN by Joana Tischkau at HAU, among other projects, as well as in DAWN at Theaterhaus Bremen.

Emeka Ene works as a dancer and performer in a range of stage and performance productions. Since the 2026/27 season, he has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Maxim Gorki Theater.
