Constanza Macras
Constanza Macras is a choreographer and director. In 2003, she founded the international dance and theatre company Constanza Macras / Dorky Park, whose interdisciplinary work combines dance, text, live music and film with social questions. The company tours internationally and has presented its productions at numerous festivals around the world. For her artistic work, Macras has received, among others, the Goethe-Institut Award, the German Theatre Award DER FAUST, the Tabori Prize and the B.Z. Kulturpreis. She also works as a film choreographer and has contributed to Yorgos Lanthimos’s The Favourite and Poor Things, Edward Berger’s Ballad of a Small Player, and Randa Chahoud’s Identitti.
