Elmira Bahrami graduated her acting studies from 2007-2011 at the Folkwang University in Essen. Since her graduation she works as a freelance actress for theatre and film. Amongst others, she worked with directors like Martina Eitner-Acheampong, Antú Romero Nunes, Micheael Ronen and Lukas Langhoff and she played at the State Theatre Mainz, the Theatre Essen, the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, the Open Air Theatre Schwäbisch Hall and the Theatre Bonn. In Berlin she plays constantly at the Ballhaus Naunynstraße. In 2010 she won the company and audience price at the Theatertreffen deutschsprachiger Schauspielstudierender and in 2011 she won the Kurt Hackenberg price for political Theater. She is seen in movies like Das Hochzeitsvideo from Sönke Wortmann or in the Tatort Köln. Elmira is singer and violinist of the Band Projekt Guzu.
