Psychologist Jule Specht is one of the youngest professors in Germany. She is engaged in research on personality development and social relations, and studies how personalities change during the ageing process. She also deals with topics such as love and choosing a partner – in her book Suche kochenden Betthasen (Looking for a lover who cooks), she writes about what people can learn about love from academic studies.

Jule Specht studied psychology at the University of Münster. After her doctorate she became a junior professor at the Free University of Berlin and, after a post in Lübeck, began teaching at the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2017. For her extraordinary achievements and personal commitment, she was awarded the Berlin Science Prize for Junior Scientists in 2014. She also serves as a research professor at the German Institute for Economic Research in Berlin since 2012.
